Tip 1
Check Champion Mods
Look at the modifiers before entering. Equip the right Anti-Champion mods for Barrier, Unstoppable, or Overload champions.
Destiny 2 / Lost Sector Exotics
Unofficial fan guide. Legend and Master Lost Sectors are the solo path to exotic armor: finish alone and an exotic engram can drop, with Master roughly doubling the odds. For today's rotation, check the Destiny 2 Lost Sector tracker.
| Legend Completion | Exotic Engram (solo only), Enhancement Cores, Glimmer |
|---|---|
| Master Completion | Exotic Engram (higher drop rate), Enhancement Cores, Glimmer |
| Exotic Drop Rate | ~25% Legend, ~50% Master (approximate) |
| Solo Required | Yes - must complete alone for exotic drops |
Master has better exotic drop rates but is significantly harder, with more champions and shields. Farm Legend if your clears are twice as fast: more completions per hour beats a higher per-run rate. Only step up to Master when your loadout handles the champion density comfortably.
| Champion Types | Vary by Lost Sector (Barrier, Unstoppable, Overload) |
|---|---|
| Anti-Champion Mods | Equip the right mods for the champions in rotation |
| Shields | Master adds more shielded enemies - match elements |
Lost Sectors rotate daily at 10:00 AM Pacific Time, and each destination - EDZ, Cosmodrome, Moon, Europa, Throne World - runs its own rotation cycle. You must first discover and complete a Lost Sector on any character before it can appear in the daily Legend and Master rotation.
Tip 1
Look at the modifiers before entering. Equip the right Anti-Champion mods for Barrier, Unstoppable, or Overload champions.
Tip 2
You must complete the Lost Sector alone to get exotic engrams. Fireteam matchmaking will disable exotic drops.
Tip 3
A fast Legend clear loop earns more exotics per hour than slow Master attempts. Time your runs and pick the difficulty with the best clears-per-hour rate.
