How to Unlock It
You must obtain the Catharsis blueprint before it can drop as a regular item. The blueprint comes from exotic caches. Once learned, farm targeted loot in mask slots for a chance at the item itself. This two-step process means patience is required.
Vicious Cycle, Explained
Taking damage builds up to thirty stacks of +1% weapon damage each. Maxing out purges everything, stacks and status effects, into a healing cloud that restores 5% of max armor for ten seconds to allies inside.
Build Tips
Catharsis pairs excellently with Foundry Bulwark and other tank-focused gear sets. It excels in survivability builds where you intentionally take damage to trigger the heal cycle. For full setups see tested Division 2 builds.
