How to Unlock It
Exodus is primarily obtained from the Year 6 Season 3 free reward track. You need to reach Rank 29 on the free track by earning XP from missions, activities, and weekly projects. After the season ends, Exodus can also drop from Targeted Loot when Gloves is the targeted slot, and from Exotic Caches earned through various endgame activities.
Smoke Screen, Explained
When your armor breaks, a smoke bomb hides you from enemies for three seconds on a forty-second loop, in PvP it also grants pulse resistance and hides your nameplate. The great escape, on cooldown.
Build Tips
Exodus pairs well with mobile DPS builds that use frequent repositioning. The Gunner specialization provides ammo regeneration for sustained fire between rolls. Negotiator's Dilemma or Hunter's Fury gear sets complement the aggressive movement style. In PvP, the hazard protection is particularly valuable against bleed and burn builds commonly found in the Dark Zone. For full setups see tested Division 2 builds.
