How to Unlock It

The Nemesis requires a multi-week quest chain. First, complete Tidal Basin on invaded difficulty to obtain the key piece. Then, over the following weeks, complete three different invaded strongholds (Grand Washington Hotel, Capitol Building, and Roosevelt Island) to collect the remaining parts. Once all pieces are gathered, return to Grand Washington Hotel to assemble the Nemesis at the crafting bench.

Electromagnetic Accelerator, Explained

Hold the trigger to charge every shot from zero to double damage, then release to fire. Shots that hit without killing charge the next one faster, so keep the railgun humming and make every round count at long range.

Build Tips

Nemesis is the cornerstone of one-shot sniper builds. Pair it with the Sharpshooter specialization for its headshot damage bonuses and stable bipod support. Stack headshot damage and weapon handling on your gear to maximize each charged shot. The Nemesis also works well as a secondary weapon for clearing distant targets while using another exotic as your primary. For full setups see tested Division 2 builds.
