How to Unlock It
The Catalyst drops from the final boss of the Battle for Brooklyn mission or from named bosses throughout Brooklyn. Run the mission on higher difficulties for better loot quality. Brooklyn named bosses also have a chance to drop it during free-roam activities.

Dealing and receiving status effects builds twelve Catalysis stacks of damage and status power; maxed stacks turn kills into armor and reload speed, and burning can’t break your aim.
