Three Dark Zones

Toxicity, Surge & Samples
The seasonal loop runs on Sample Cannisters pulled from landmarks (extract them like contaminated loot). Samples feed the Surge system, which supercharges active modifiers. Invincible for healing and armor, Pneuma for weapon handling, Vicarious for skill support, plus nine passives across gadgets, resistances and offense. Enemy-side pressure comes from Folie à Deux, Plague Doctor and Soporific modifiers, several of which also raise your Toxicity meter.

PvP & Escalation Notes
Phase one of the PvP rebalance retuned weapon and gear talents to close the gap between meta and off-meta picks, with skills and attributes queued for later phases. Escalation gained Hyena ambushes during Retaliation, DZ vendors were overhauled with new caches, and entrance turrets plus spawn protection made door camping harder.
