NPC Companions & Command Link
Defectors met in open-world encounters and Mutiny events can be recruited if they survive the fight. As squad leader you order them to reposition, focus targets, support the team or trigger abilities through the Command Link global talent, which pays out stacking buffs, crit damage, reload speed, weapon damage and bonus armor, plus link points per order type. New Commander, Jammer and Fireteam enemy behaviors exist specifically to break up that coordination.

| Bittersweet (Exotic MMR) | Transfusion: headshots build 8 stacks, then healing an ally or skill turns all hits into guaranteed headshots for 8 seconds. |
